Of course, I’m biased but I love to jion conference calls with just a keystroke. I’m also a heavy user of GIFs and emojis; having those at my fingertips makes me happy, not sure about my team mates.
I have a script favorited to show my team’s timezones. I change my Slack status multiple times a day and use Raycast to control my Elgato Key Lights during a conference call.
I search GitHub repositories and VS Code projects with my extensions, and stay on top of Linear with the extension. Mainly filing feedback for others and cleaning my issue queue.
I use Slack Status, GitHub Repository Search, Visual Studio Code Recent Projects, Elgato Key Light, GIF Search and more daily. 8 Ball is a fun one if you too lazy to make decisions.
I have Google Search as my only fallback search configured. I’m pretty heavy on hotkeys. I use “⌥” as my go-to modifier key and then pair it with the first letter of an app or command, e.g. “⌥ + N” to open Notion or “⌥ + M” to open the Search Menu Items command.
