Overview

Raycast’s built-in Emoji Picker allows you to find any emoji or symbol in lightning speed and hit Enter to Paste it into your active input field.

You can access it by searching for the ‘Search Emoji & Symbols’ command in root search, but we strongly recommend setting a Hotkey to access it anytime directly by opening Raycast Settings (Ctrl ,) and going to either the Shortcuts or Emoji & Symbols section.

AI Results

If no emoji directly matches your search, we will activate AI Results and help you find the right one. You can also hit Tab to activate AI search for any query.

Actions

Hitting Enter will paste the highlighted emoji or symbol directly, but you can also take additional actions through the Ctrl K menu such as:

• Copy to Clipboard Ctrl Enter
• Paste and Keep Window Ppen Ctrl Shift Enter
• Copy Unicode Shift Ctrl C
• Pin/Unpin Emoji Ctrl .
• Assign Custom Keywords Ctrl E

You can also filter by category using the Ctrl P menu in the Navigation Bar.

Custom Keywords

You can also assign additional Custom Keywords to each Emoji or Symbol, in order to find it more easily in the future. To do so, open the Ctrl K menu and select Edit Custom Keywords (or hit Ctrl E directly).
