Raycast makes it super fast to launch any application installed on your PC.
Just hit your Raycast hotkey to open the launcher, and then start typing to find the app you need.
With the application highlighted, hit Enter to launch it.
In order you to see all available Applications in root search, you can use Ctrl ↓ to jump down to the Apps section in the list.
With an application selected, you can also use Ctrl K to bring up additional actions such as Open in File Explorer, Copy Path, Copy Name, and even Uninstall it directly from Raycast.
An even faster way to launch applications is to assign Shortcuts to them.
Go to the Shortcuts tab in Settings (Ctrl ,) and assign a Hotkey to any application in order to launch it without even opening Raycast. You can also assign an Alias, by which you can quickly find the app in root search.
You can also quickly filter your shortcuts by Type > Applications and Modification > Hotkey Set to see all apps you have assigned shortcuts for.
